home membership calendar scholarships links committees contact us	News and Upcoming Events The Boone County Retired Teachers Association ( BCRTA) serves as an affiliate of the Indiana Retires Teachers Association (IRTA), and strives to promote fellowship among the retired teachers in Boone County as well as advancing their interests and welfare. It helps retired teachers maintain identity with the teaching profession, furthers the cause of education by offering opportunities to volunteer in our schools and community and provides financial support to graduating seniors interested in teaching as a career. Active membership is open to any retired teacher or administrator who has taught in Boone Co. or who now lives in Boone Co.
